Unlike other hyped-up tech, self-driving taxis look like they could be the real thing. Which is exactly how I felt after my last trip to San Francisco, when I took several rides in Waymo's robotaxis. Instacart, DoorDash, and other apps seem to be trying to roll back Seattle's new gig worker pay law. They say Seattle gig workers are making less and delivering fewer orders after many raised prices. But in the preamble to the survey, Instacart indicated it already had thoughts about how things were going. One poster, who included screenshots of the message, encouraged other Instacart shoppers to turn the pre-written letter to the city council around. Uber Eats and Grubhub have also put out statements saying that things have gotten worse for their gig workers since Seattle's law took effect.

Tesla said on Friday that it's cutting the subscription price of its premium driver assistance system for customers in the U.S. Marketed as its Full Self-Driving, or FSD, package, Tesla customers will now pay $99 per month, down from $199 previously. "The FSD price will continue to rise as the software gets closer to full self-driving capability with regulatory approval," Musk wrote on Twitter, now known as X, on May 18, 2020. Despite its brand name, the company's FSD option today doesn't make Tesla vehicles autonomous or functional as robotaxis. Tesla didn't respond to a request for more information, including whether the price cut announced Friday is permanent or temporary.

The AI guides them through the transactions, including suggesting add-ons and recommending items they got in previous orders, Ahmad said. The delivery platforms that Kea can refer orders to are DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, Grubhub, and Favor, Ahmad said.

In the past five years, Wingstop, which is listed on the Nasdaq, saw its stock grow 380%, from $72.36 in March 2019 to $348 as of Thursday. Not the wildest 5-year rally by any means, but those are some eye-catching gains for a chicken wing-slinging, fast-food chain. Fast food chains were no exception. It's also difficult to look at other more storied fast food restaurants, such as McDonald's, which is trading at $282.63 as of Friday, and compare that to Wingstop, Gargiulo said. But overall, there are very few fast food restaurants that look and operate like Wingstop.

I mean, I didn't really care about what I was wearing, and my brothers and I were fine with driving our dad's old '98 Lincoln. We didn't really talk about moneyThere were some indications that we were rich. Our family took really nice vacations, but as a kid, there was a disconnect between things and how much they cost. For both my mom and my dad, having a lot of money was a relatively new experience, as was raising children. I don't really see it as dishonest, though, because people are multifaceted and much more complex than the sum of where they grew up.

I have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars from the comfort of my couch. At first, it was bliss; swiping from app to app, filling carts like I was browsing the aisles of the supermarket. I spent thousands of dollars each month on Amazon, Instacart, Wayfair, Etsy, Sephora, and other shopping apps. My relationship with my smartphone has changed significantly since I removed the food and shopping apps.

Some single parents with disabilities said being able to take days off has helped them stay healthier and avoid burnout. This means that a higher percentage of single parents' earnings goes toward childcare costs, pushing some away from using childcare entirely. "These fluctuations and discrepancies can be devastating to individuals who don't have other mechanisms to make money, including single parents who are often operating on a single income," Greening said.
